Question: How do you connect a samsung led tv to a ps3?

I just got a new samsung led tv 7000 and i dont know how to connect it to my 80 GB older ps3

I have the same series TV, and if for some reason you are trying to use the cables that came with it Red/White/Yellow, you can plug these into the component jacks. The Y on the component jack is used as the Yellow and the Red and White go into the audio jacks as normal. I would highly suggest using HDMI though so you get the full 1080p experience and not just 480i. You can pick up these cables for about $5 online, and considering you bought a $2000-$3000 TV, I'm sure you've got the money to spend on a HDMI cable.

Get a very good quality HDMI cable. Buy the best one you can afford it does pay benefits in picture and colour quality.
