Hello !! i just bought a samsung led tv that really flat one !! anyhow .. i was really happy with it and thought that my $1800 i spent on it was worth it until i bought a dvd player i tried hooking it up red yellow white easy as 1 2 3 but not on this tv nooooo the picture was purple with no sound so after a few weeks i thought the problem might be the dvd player so i returned it and decided to get a new one with surround sound the same thing happened until i hooked up the surround sound my gut told me something was wrong with the tv but i decided to ignore it !!! well anyway my husband came home today with a ps3 we tried hooking it up with no luck the picture was black and white ! so ive been googling all night trying to find out whats wrong and all i could find in that the led samsung doesn't decode dts sound track and i dont even know what that means ??!!!! can u help me ?

I had a Samsung, but a bad one. After you plugged the red white, and yellow in, did you use the TV CONTROLLER to switch input. Where you plugged it in,if it says (ex.) Video 2 use the controller on input, or source and pick Video 2 I could be wrong because i hve a Sony Bravia, but i use to have a Samsung. It was horrible. The back-light broke or whatever the thing was. We also had a Samsung computer screen, and it also broke.
