Question: What is the difference between these 2 samsung led tv's? (Posted by: Rico on 2009-12-21 13:53:46) I am after a new TV for my bedroom and i fancy a Samsung LED TV. I will mainly be using it to play xbox 360, watch movies and watch normal TV. I have been looking for a 32inch and i have found 2 that are very similar but one is more expensive and i was wondering why? The 2 i have found are: http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0611430970.1261432140@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccefadejegjhhffcflgceggdhhmdfnn.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=650256&category_oid=-34762 and: http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0611430970.1261432140@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccefadejegjhhffcflgceggdhhmdfnn.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=402240&category_oid=-34762 Also if anyone would like to add anything about buying a new TV it would be helpful and all answers are much appreciated :) |

Posted by: jf on 2009-12-21, 14:19:29 6000 vs 7000 series, that's the difference. 6 series vs 7 series basically. What does that mean? The 7 series adds multimedia features, and sometimes a slight improvement in contrast (though I'm unclear on that here). The 7 series one here adds Medi@ TV support. So that would open the TV up to things like watching Internet TV sources on your TV if you hook up an ethernet cable (like watching YouTube on your). They both use the WCE pro image processor. I'm pretty sure they do actually both have the same contrast quality. So image quality, I wouldn't expect much difference. The price difference is for the added multimedia features in the 7 series set. |
